Dabu Hand Block Print Cotton Fabric
**Colours may vary slightly due to the difference between a digital and a fabric colour**
Dabu is a resist-dyeing technique where mud, along with other natural items are used as a resist, and block printed on the cloth. The fabrics are then dyed in different colours and heated up to remove the resist. In case of double dabu fabrics, after the mud is removed, fabric goes through the same process all over again to give a lighter and a darker block print. The key difference between dabu and discharge print is the visiblility of cracks that are evident in the block prints. When Indigo colour is used, the fabric is most commonly known as Indigo.
Colours may vary slightly due to a difference in digital and fabric colours.
Wash Instructions: Handloom and Handblock print fabrics tend to bleed during their initial washes. Please do not soak them in water or dry under direct sunlight for long lasting colours. First wash dry clean is recommended.
